Pine Plains Lodge

Kathleen and myself were blessed with being able to spend a few days at the O’Sullivan’s Pine Plains Lodge in Wyperfeld National Park during June 2020. Below is just a few images from our stay.

A loverly log cabin room attached to the main lodge
A pano of the two main rooms
Every night a sunset
Every morning a sunrise
Somethings just catch my eye
Old tools of the Trapper
Camel’s at rest near the Lodge
The property has been in the O’Sullivans family for over 100 years

The Shearing Shed

Behind the Lodge hidden under a mighty peppercorn tree is the old Shearing Shed, it turned out to be a treasure trove of images for me.

Shearing Shed tree
A four stand shed
All powered by a single plug
A forgotten hand piece
As the dust builds
Long forgotten
Still waiting
Someone put these here to be found again
What’s inside
Forgotten
Still usable
Still usefull
Too pitted for use now
Who was the last
A job still to be done
Past champions
Slowly fading away

Stars

I had to wait to the last night for a clear sky so I could take some star images.
